| ALBIO DATA S.A. “Information Systems – Consulting” which is based in Larissa has a successful 20 year existence in the current marketplace. Its primary activity is to thoroughly design and develop comprehensive information systems for organizations and enterprises.
 ALBIODATA is a subsidiary of BIOKARPET Group. In September 1990 BIOKARPET’s information technology department with the compliments, encouragement and financial support of its Board of Directors founded and helped establish BIDATA S.A. – Computer Supplies; which was the current company’s primary corporate title. During Fall 1993 after stockholders’ briefings through formal meetings decisions were took concerning the company title (ALBIODATA) and activity expansion to the field of applications, information and communication technology.
The company’s core is in Larissa ,5th km of national road Larissa - Athens with contemporary, modern and up-to-date housing that fully meets company’s and its clients’ needs.
Within its 15 year presence in the marketplace, the company has shown:

At this point it might be worthwhile to mention some of the most important projects undertaken within this period of time .
» Installation, technical and software support of the “TAXIS” information system in the greater Central Greece area. A project that is thought to be one of the biggest information system projects in the general metropolitan area.
» In 2000 the company completed an EDI project in the field of recycling with a total budget of 91 mil drachmas. It is important to mention that this was the only proposal granted within the Greek metropolitan area.
» Within the ‘Ioannis Kapodistrias’ program, ALBIODATA undertook the Informaion Systems Installation and Maintenance Project for the vast majority of the Local Administration Organizations of the Municipality of Larissa after an International Competition with a total budget of 1.000.000,00 € .
» In 2001, ALBIODATA has been awarded by the Greek Ministry of Development within the place of the RIS + European Program for its “innovative business and its strategic excellence”
